I am a young vibrant student from Limpopo. I love volunteering at pre-schools and primary schools because I love inspiring people and teaching children how to read. I have been involved in a lot of community engagement initiatives at Rhodes and I loved every minute of it. My thesis is based on the impact of intervention projects such as the projects that the Rhodes University community engagement office co-ordinate and the impact that these projects have on primary education in Grahamstown. “An analysis of the Rhodes University Community Engagement projects on primary education in Grahamstown”.  I am also a tutor in the department, tutoring second year Industrial and economic sociology students.
