I am currently a Rhodes Post Doctoral Fellow mainly working on a book project focusing on the sociology of land reform in Zimbabwe. My research focus and publishing work also revolve around gender theory, African feminism and sexuality, land grabbing, female youths in agriculture, youth studies and football fandom. 

In the long term I am also conducting preliminary work on a book project around the history of football fans in Zimbabwe. I am part of a network which has recently completed a comparative study of football fans in four African nations. I am also part of Futures Agriculture Consortium with my work mainly focusing on rural adolescent females.
