Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy:

Internal Applications:

BCom Accounting Degree

An average of at least 58% across all four courses with a subminimum of:

55% Accounting 3

55% Auditing 3

55% Management Accounting and Finance 3

55% Taxation 3

All subjects at third year level must be taken the year prior to entry into the programme.

Supplementary/re-examination results will not be considered in reviewing the application.

External Applications:

A SAICA accredited undergraduate degree with a minimum of 60% in each of the SAICA accredited third-year courses:

Accounting 3

Auditing 3

Management Accounting and Finance 3

Taxation 3

Postgraduate Diploma in Taxation:

BCom Degree including a minimum of 65% for Taxation at third year level (please note students may be asked to write the Rhodes University Taxation 3 supplementary examination).

FOR THOSE NOT MEETING THESE REQUIREMENTS EACH APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED ON ITS MERITS.
