Biography: 

Dr. Marire lectures microeconomics, public economics and undergraduate economics. His research interests are in institutional economic theory and applications, history of economic thought, land economics, environmental and natural resource economics, and economics of innovation.

• Economic performance of state-owned enterprises in sub-Saharan Africa
• History of Economic Thought
• Applications of institutional economics
• Environmental and Natural Resource Economics
