The Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER) at Rhodes University is looking to appoint a postdoctoral fellow from January/February 2023. The fellowship will be for one year, with potential extension over two years. The extension will be based on the fellow’s performance and availability of funds.
Candidate fellows will be considered from the Social Sciences, including from the disciplines of Political Studies, Sociology, Economics, History, etc. Excellent writing and critical reading skills in the English Language (as well as numerical skills) are core requirements. Background and interest in socio-environmental issues are recommended.
