Last week Tanzania (Dar-es-Salaam) was home to this year’s Africa Media Leadership conference, an initiative by the Rhodes University Sol Plaatjie Institute for Media Leadership (SPI) and the German based Konrad Adenauer Stiftung (KAS) held annually in a rotating African country since 2002.
This year’s theme was “Sustainable Media Business Models in the Digital Age” and delegates from as far as East, West, Southern Africa. Also present were delegates from Central, North Africa, the Horn of Africa, the Caribbean and the USA.
