The Neil Aggett Labour Studies Unit (NALSU) at Rhodes University, Makhanda, welcomes the measures being put in place by civil society and the state to contain the spread of COVID-19, but joins other analysts insisting that a more robust set of measures is needed to cushion the working class, poor and vulnerable employers.
