Following our statement issued on 27 March 2020, we are pleased to inform you that the DVC: Academic and Student Affairs, has assured us that no department will be expecting students to submit school work during this lockdown period.
Students will be given a reasonable amount of time to complete their work that will now be due for submission once the University reopens.
We call on fellow students to please let us know if any department requires you to submit work during this period. The SRC has, on numerous occasions, called for ALL academic activities to be halted during these uncertain, trying times until a feasible plan that accommodates all students is put in place.
