Sanele Ngubo, a Rhodes University 2nd-year BCom (Accounting) student was invited to represent South Africa at the Asia World Models United Nations in Thailand in January 2019.
Sanele says of the conference: “What a success! AWMUN has officially ended but the memories and the skills earned from this conference will never be taken away. I was privileged to be among the 1561 delegates from across the world to participate in the conference, which critically engaged in a series of activities aimed at developing migration as an adaption solution to Climate change.”
We are very proud of Sanele’s participation and especially, that he was recognised as the "Most Outstanding Delegate" at the end of the conference. Well done Sanele!
