Wall newspapers

A wall newspaper or placard newspaper is designed to be displayed in public settings where everyone can read them, for example on walls of public buildings. The idea is to distribute news in a simple, cost effective manner. This also enables the use of multiple languages. Here are examples of wall newspapers made by journalism students during the JDD-CMP course. The course encourages students from all the streams of journalism (writing, design, photography, television, radio, new media) to work together to produce valuable content about their communities.
