The Rhodes University Ethical Standards Committee (RUESC)

The Ethical Standards Committee is a Senate Working Group which falls under the reporting structure of the RC, but operates under Senate instruction to provide uniform and effective protection of the rights of human and animal subjects in research.

The Postgraduate Liaison Sub-Committee (PGLSC)

The PGLSC comprises a postgraduate student representative of each academic department, who meet as a plenary body as necessary to represent the interests of postgraduate students. The PGLSC elect a chair (who represents postgraduate students on the RC) and a small executive who interact with the Director: Research Office on an operational basis.

The Postdoctoral Liaison Sub-Committee (PDLSC)

The PDLSC comprises all postdoctoral fellows of the University, who meet as a plenary body as necessary to represent the interests of postdoctoral fellows. The PDLSC elect a representative (who represents postdoctoral fellows on the RC) and who interacts with the Director: Research Office on an operational basis.
