IT Division

The IT Division employs students in two roles:

1. as lab assistants, who help maintain the various public computer labs on campus and provide basic assistance to staff and students using the labs.
2. as student technicians, who man the student help desk. See http://www.ru.ac.za/studnet/support/studenttechnicians for a full description of what we expect of them.

We typically recruit a large batch of new students to these roles once a year, usually early in the fourth term. We also make some ad-hoc appointments during the year as the need arises. Interested students should approach the IT Division secretariat.
