Gender-based violence and rape survivor rights activist, Journalist and Researcher

Michelle Solomon is a rape survivor rights activist and sexual violence researcher, as well as the media liaison for the annual Silent Protest, known as South Africa's largest annual anti-rape protest. She is currently employed as a journalist at the Daily Dispatch newspaper in East London.
