Abir Chakraborty, a TWAS-NRF Doctoral fellow of Rhodes University and a member of BioBRU, visited the University of Edinburgh on a research exchange program to execute certain research experiments at the Department of Chemistry. He was introduced to a couple of high throughput technologies, required for biomolecular interaction characterization which included HDX-M and FTICRMS.  The main objective and intention of this research visit was to carry out experiments within highly advanced infrastructure and strengthen the collaboration between Dr. David Clarke, who has been working with Prof Edkins for a long time. He also efficiently presented his work in front of Dr. Clarke’s group and received peer reviewed comments that will help him generate better research outputs in future as a researcher.
