Yes, the Research Project comprises 45 credits of the 184 credits making up the MBA. It is approximately 12 000 words focusing on a theme related to leadership for sustainability and consists of (1) a systematized review of the literature (6 000 to 8 000 words), (2) a related artefact for organisations, and (3) a self-reflexive essay (2 000 to 4 000 words). Your supervisor is allocated to you just prior to the end of the first academic year. The deadline for submission of the Research Project is at the end of the first semester in Year 3 (i.e. 31st July). It is entirely feasible to submit your Research Project for examination in the second year of the MBA; however, most students take 2.5 years to complete the degree.
