The Rhodes MBA comprises 15 modules of coursework (12 core and 3 electives) and a research project of 12,000 words. It is offered on a part-time basis over two and a half years, but can be completed in two years. The programme commences online in February, and an annual 2-week, compulsory attendance face-to-face block, normally in May, is conducted at the Business School in Makhanda (formerly Grahamstown), Eastern Cape, South Africa.
Generally, the online modules follow a four- to six-week cadence. The face-to-face block (which is compulsory to attend) also includes immersive experiences. The sequence of module delivery may change to align with first- and second-year classes and the application of our knowledge wheel. Please refer to the business school’s website for the detailed MBA timetable. Electives are subject to sufficient demand.
