As the Research Programme Administration Manager at ELRC, Thato is responsible for providing and managing efficient and effective financial, administrative and project co-ordination services and project management at the Centre. She manages the ELRC’s research contracts, their budgets, timelines and adherence to deliverable schedules. Thato oversees the ELRC’s administrative support staff.

Thato has a financial background, having done her undergraduate studies at Rhodes University, graduating with a Bachelor of Economics (Business Science Curriculum). Her further education includes a Certificate in Business Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management and she is currently an MBA student with Rhodes Business School, where she aims to focus on sustainability and make her contribution towards a green economy.
