Professor Emeritus

A Cambridge graduate, Professor Terry is internationally known as an author of Computer Science text books.  He was the 1992 recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award and was a member of the International Modula-2 standardisation committee. Professor Terry retired at the end of 2010, but continues to present the third-year translators course.

Research interests

Design of programming languages, standardisation and implementation.
