Short Biography:

Christian Sekomo Birame born on 28/12/1968, works for the University of Rwanda (UR) since 2000. With an experience of twenty years in teaching and research, he is actually Senior Lecturer in the School of Science, in the College of Science and Technology where he is teaching chemistry and environmental related modules at undergraduate level and other specialized modules related to water, wastewater and sanitation at postgraduate level. He holds a PhD degree from UNESCO-IHE and University of Wageningen (UW) in the Netherlands (2012). He is actually the chairperson of the Academic and Research Staff Organization (ARSO-UR), Vice-Chair person of the board of directors of the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA) and member of UNESCO-IHP / Rwanda in the Rwanda Commission for UNESCO (CNRU).
