Message from your 2016 House Committee.
Hello College Knights of 2016!
Welcome to the oldest (and residence with the most history)on Campus – College House.
Firstly, congratulations and welcome to Rhodes University! You have been accepted to the BEST university in South Africa (if we do say so ourselves), and that is quite an accomplishment. We hope you’re ready, because the next three/four years of your life are going to be filled with more monumental accomplishments, both academic and otherwise. You’re in for a ride!
College House will be your home for the next 10 months. We as your House Committee is excited to be sharing this wonderful experience with you.
As excited as we may be, we also understand that you may be experiencing some mixed emotions about moving away from home and into residence. These feelings are normal!
As part of our roles as your House Committee we are here to address any issues that you might experience throughout the year. We are also here to provide support, information, and resources to help guide you along the way.
As your House Committee, we are here to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable year at College House and at Rhodes University!
Words cannot express how truly wonderful of an experience living in College House is. There are so many opportunities that await you here. We challenge you to reach out and define your year in residence. Make the most of the moments and challenges that come your way, no matter how big or small. Our hope is that living in residence will challenge you to grow and develop as an individual.
