My name is KAPANGA PACHRIS MUAMBA, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) at the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry obtained in 2014/2015. December 8, 2021, was a very special day in my life. I was selected to continue my studies at Makerere University, Uganda, as part of the European Union-funded African Water Mobility Network (AWaRMN) project.

On that remarkable day, December 8, 2021, at 8:52 p.m., as I toiled away at my evening job, a letter of unparalleled significance appeared in my mailbox. Its contents were life-altering. As I read the words, a wave of emotion swept over me, as my dream was now a tangible reality. With immense gratitude, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire African Water Resources Mobility Network (AWaRMN) team. Their belief in my potential bolstered my confidence to embark on this transformative educational journey.

The AWaRMN project, generously funded by the European Union, has bestowed upon me an opportunity of profound significance. Enabling me to pursue advanced studies at the Department of Chemistry, Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda. This initiative is unequivocally the pinnacle of my academic aspirations. I am profoundly indebted to Professor Nelson Odume, the visionary Project Coordinator of AWaRMN, whose signature adorns the scholarship offer letter a symbol of trust and encouragement.
