Short Biography:

Patrick Ssebugere is a Lecturer of Physical Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, Makerere University. He has published more than 25 peer reviewed journals articles and 1 book chapter. He has been cited 525 times and his h-index is 13. He is a reviewer for over 13 science journals. He has supervised 10 MSc and 2 PhD students to completion. Dr. Ssebugere has received numerous awards including the Georg Forster Fellowship for Senior Researchers at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research – UFZ in Leipzig, Germany (2021), TWAS-DFG Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Helmholtz Zentrum München, German Research Center for Environmental Health (2019). His current research grants include the COVID-19 Biomarker project supported by Presidential Scientific Initiative on Epidemics, Environmental Health project funded by TWAS and Capacity building in Environmental Sciences project supported by ICM Erasmus plus.
