My academic and professional development began at Wits University; I completed a BA in psychology and sociology, Honours in applied psychology and Masters in counselling psychology with an emphasis on community psychology. I am currently a registered counselling psychologist, and completing my PhD in psychology under the 'Critical Sexualities and Reproductive Health Programme' at Rhodes University. My research interests are on the intersections between psychoanalytic and post-structural theory, and the implications this has for how the 'subject', in the form of various identities, is constructed.
