* Studied at Rhodes University obtaining a BSc (Information Systems) in Mathematical Statistics and Computer Science, a BSc (Hons) in Mathematical Statistics, a MSc in Mathematical Statistics from Rhodes Univesity and a MSc in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of the Witwatersrand.

* Appointed as a Junior Lecturer in 1999 and as a Lecturer in 2001 in the Department of Statistics at Rhodes University.

* Appointed as a Lecturer at Monash South Africa from 2004 till 2023.

* Appointed as a Lecturer in the Department of Statistics at Rhodes University in 2023.

* Teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Statistics and Mathematical Statistics courses and supervises postgraduate students.
