Kelly Solomon

Kelly lectures on the postgraduate diploma in higher education for the Rhodes group. She is also the coordinator for the RU PGDip group. With a keen interest in tutor development, Kelly facilitates on Engage, a short course in small group facilitation offered to Rhodes tutors. Additionally, she offers and is available to provide support and guidance to tutor coordinators. Furthermore, Kelly provides feedback on evaluations as well as consults on and conducts peer reviews and/or student focus groups for feedback. 

Kelly is passionate about student learning and working with developing how we teach students in the best possible way for their learning. She is currently doing her PhD with a focus on how students understand the purpose of an undergraduate in hope that it will provide further insight into teaching approaches. Kelly finds tutor work in the university space to be incredibly valuable and thus is dedicated to providing ongoing support and guidance to tutors.
