On 16th October the Institute for Water Research along with researchers, managers, implementers, traditional leaders and community representatives, met in the Maclear town hall for update and feedback on the Tsitsa Project. The meeting, chaired by Ms Dudu Soginga from the Department of Environmental Affairs, included feedback on the project progress to date, questions and discussions. The Tsitsa Project research and management team was complimented by traditional leaders for making the effort to engage the community and for providing feedback on a project that impacts their lives and livelihoods.

The Tsitsa Project is funded by the Department of Environmental Affairs.
