THESES SUPERVIZED; PUBLICATIONS, PRESENTATIONS AND REVIEWS; PRACTICE
I have supervised multiple clinical masters theses, many being awarded with distinction. I have supervised five PhD theses on concussion brain injury at the school and professional levels. I have published extensively in peer reviewed journals, and present workshops and symposiums on sports concussion and cross-cultural assessment, nationally and internationally. I regularly review manuscripts for peer reviewed journals on an ad hoc basis, as well as being on the editorial boards of the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Neuropsychology, and the Archives of Clinical Neuropsychology. I have conducted a part-time medico-legal practice for the past 30 years, with a focus on MVA head injury assessment for compensation purposes. I have initiated sports concussion management programmes using a computer-based neurocognitive screening test (ImPACT Inc. USA), that are currently operating in South Africa at the school, university and professional levels.
