RHODES University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Dr Sizwe Mabizela yesterday urged students and staff to report alleged rape and sexual harassment after campus support groups claimed at least 22 incidents had occurred this year.
Mabizela’s call in a campuswide circular yesterday follows the launch of a #chapter212 campaign this week at Rhodes and the University of Stellenbosch to get survivors to report incidents.
