Research Forum

The Research Forum was created as part of Rhodes’ HEAIDS project to bring together researchers from a range of different disciplines involved in HIV and AIDS- related research. It provides a quarterly opportunity for Rhodes staff and student researchers to talk about their research interests and projects; and topics of mutual concern such as HIV/AIDS research ethics and local research priorities.
The Research Forum represents Rhodes at the Eastern Cape Research Council Research Committee and also organises public 'HIV/AIDS Update' talks in partnership with the Raphael Centre. The Forum is currently run by CADRE (Centre for AIDS Development, Research and Evaluation), who offered to maintain the Forum as a service to Rhodes after the completion of the HEAIDS project.
One of the Research Forum’s initiatives was the creation of a data bibliography of HIV/AIDS research at Rhodes. For more information about the bibliography, contact Dr Kevin Kelly, or Dr Asta Rau at CADRE.
