The Law Faculty held the Final Year 2022 Moot Competition on 31 March 2022. The class had to prepare heads of argument and oral presentations on the question of whether a costs order amounts to an order for maintenance pendente lite that the applicant can deduct from the respondent's pension fund. The four finalists were Cameron Hardy, Nathan Heggie, Sthandwa Khuzwayo and Thobani Ndebele. Judge Avinash Govindjee, Messrs Leo Vaccaro and Shaun Bergover presided over the matter.
