Adv Sandi's passing

Adv Sandi first registered at Rhodes in 1983, but his anti-apartheid activism saw his studies disrupted. He returned to Rhodes after the country’s transition and completed his LLB degree in 1995. He practised thereafter as an advocate at the Grahamstown Bar. He was a member of the South African Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Amnesty Committee throughout its existence from 1996 to 2001. The Faculty’s condolences go out to his family.
