South Africa is host to the 81st IFLA World Library and Information Congress being held in Cape Town from 15-21 August 2015 with the theme “Dynamic Libraries: Access, Development and Transformation”.
We are proud that Ms Ujala Satgoor, Rhodes University Library Director is the Co-Chair of the South African National Committee responsible for the South African arrangements of this international Congress and 13 members of staff will be attending as volunteers and delegates.
Mr Larshan Naicker, Head: User & Research Support Services will be presenting a poster on “The Digital Repository as a central driver in the Open Access Research Agenda” We wish them well with their deliberations, networking and professional exchange.
