Title and abstract:

"Software-based chemistry and its ideal placement in remote and post-covid learning".

In the move to remote learning, a range of strategies were introduced into teaching. In this lecture these changes are explored, particularly those which continue to be useful now that in-person teaching is continuing. One of the most important changes in my discipline was with respect to computational chemistry, an essential part of the chemistry curriculum. For this, remote access to powerful tools not only provided the required access to this area of chemistry, but also provided a framework for this type of work to continue and to improve post-lockdown.

by Prof. Kevin Alan. Lobb PhD (Rhodes), FRSC.
