This conference will be accompanied by a set of field trips and workshops on the TIEMS
TQC TM international certification platform and the emergency management/disaster risk
management of the Eastern Cape Province in South Africa. The conference will be
hosted by the TIEMS South Africa Chapter and Rhodes University in collaboration with
the University of Žilina, Slovakia; Institute for Disaster Management of the National
University of Public Service, Budapest, Hungary. South African professional
organisations will also be supporting the conference, such as the North-West Umbrella
Fire Protection Association.
