Three Rhodents from the Old Rhodian Gauteng Association decided to get together and enjoy the MTN Walk the Talk with 702 on the 23rd July. Not only is this walking event the biggest in Joburg, but with over 50 000 entries, it’s the biggest mass participation sports event on the continent. Pride Jani, Derek Sanhowe and Nozuko Twala, dressed with a ‘touch of purple’, decided to participate in the 10km walk - and had a great time throughout the day! Many Old Rhodians participated individually and the OR Gauteng Association hopes to make this an annual event with Rhodents joining together as a team and walking as a group in the future.
