Safety, Health and Environmental Officer
The responsibilities of the SHE Officer are as follows:
- Maintain an up-to-date list of names, titles and phone numbers of designated Building Emergency Coordinators and Assistants for Emergency Response Group and notifying them of any changes that occur subsequent to their designation.
- Provide support, as required, to the Emergency Response Group.
- Ensure that any major incident is reported to a Department of Labour inspector within 7 days, in accordance with section 24 of the OHS Act.
