Communications and Marketing Division
Upon receiving notification of a violent crime involving a University student or employee, the responsibilities of the Communications and Marketing Division are as follows:
- Obtain facts from the CPU and, where applicable, the Dean of Students (w.r.t. students) or the manager / head of department (w.r.t. employees).
- Prepare core messages, fact sheet, news release and briefing document where necessary.
- Dispatch communication to internal stakeholders, the media and external stakeholders through the website if necessary.
