The academic performance of Graham House was a major cause of concern in 2019 due to the significant decline in the overall residence performances on-campus and in Drostdy Hall compared to 2018. Efforts in 2019 were to encourage hard work, motivation and collegial behaviour in the residence to improve the overall performance of Graham House and the individuals in the residence.

An Internal Mentorship programme for the first years was launched at the end of the 3rd Term. This was meant to boost the academic performance of the first years and to align with the Hall’s strategic thematic area (Academics). The students were grouped according to their programmes and a senior student was assigned to assist them. The social platform of the residence was also used for encouragement and to keep academics as the agenda in the residence.
