Tsungai Makoni - PA Alumni

A short summary of her experience of Prince Alfred (PA) and Rhodes:

"I was in Prince Alfred House throughout my four years as a student at Rhodes University. One of the main advantages of living in a small residence is that you get to know everyone as a person and build meaningful relationships with a lot of people which is simply amazing. It is not often that a residence can feel so much like home in a university setting. Some of my best friends to date are PA alumni! The culture and sense of community within the residence ensured that everyone was comfortable in their own skin. I was surrounded by people who wanted to see me excel and encouraged me to put my best foot forward. Not forgetting that PA is a stone's throw away from the Grahamstown CBD is always a huge plus!

Overall, I spent a memorable four years at Rhodes and would highly recommend this institution to young people looking to further their studies. Grahamstown is a vibrant town and compels all its inhabitants to bring their passion and energy to everything they do. My blood will always be purple!"
